Distant Shores

One thing you should always remember.
One phrase or saying or whatever you want to call it...

The sun always sets on the horizon,
meaning its rising on a new shore,
where a new story is being written.

Whatever happened today, it is being
rewritten and forgotten. If one thing goes
wrong, allow it to be rewritten and
forgotten. So just live in the moment.

And above all, smile whatever.

Like the vines of a grape, the things that once were distasteful to us do bear fruit that I've come to love so much

Ever wonder how friends can both show you how much of an impression you've made on people and also how little you mean to others. The ones you consider sometimes to be even just aquaintences are often the ones that will become the safety net when you fall through the cracks of a friend who is too busy to guide you on your way to something better.

Which leads me back to my title, to finish by saying that it's those friends that stay and wait for a time when they can help you that you discover who really cares. And I call the my ... Hidden Friends.

Creature Comforts

Call me a creature of habit, but its the little things that mean the most to me.

A simple 'hello, how are you?, hows your day been?' routine, as mundane as it is, gives me a smile that just shows that someone is interested in what you have to say and how you've been.
